Here is a compilation of cars in which I would love to own. Having realized how long projects can take, I have no desire to own every car on this list, even if money allowed it. What this is is a list in which I will choose from in the future, once I'm satisfied with my current projects (are we ever really satisfied?) and looking for something new to wrench on. The way gas prices are heading, I may very well look for the lightest of the bunch, make it even lighter through use of aluminum and fiberglass, and drop a stout little V8 in it with a 6 speed manual and nice highway gears out back. Obtaining 30 mpg and putting out 350-400 hp is a very realistic goal today, and one that I don't turn my head at as quickly as I used to.
