Ford has announced December 5, 2013 as the day they will take the wraps off of the 6th generation Mustang. It will get at least one EcoBoost engine, which I expected, and is said to have a Ford Fusion-like grill. For the sake of my fellow Mustang enthusiast, I hope to hell it's not "Fusion-like." One can't help but wonder, if a 400+ hp EcoBoost engine is offered, will it be the beginning of the end for V8's in Mustangs? Could turbo 6's once again capture the magic the Buick GN's, GMC Typhoons, and GMC Syclones captured during the 80's and 90's? Perhaps the bigger question, will GM and Chrysler follow Ford in dropping off 2 cylinders?
